The Lions are playing in Germany for the first time ever. On Sunday, November 15, they take on the AFC Champion New England Patriots at Allianz Arena in Munich. Kickoff is 3:30 PM in Germany, which is 9:30 AM here on FOX.
Yes, that’s 9:30 in the morning. On a Sunday. We usually open at 11, but this is the Lions in Germany. So One Under is opening early and making breakfast for you.
THE GERMANY GAME TAILGATE
Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM
All-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, 7:00 to 9:30 AM, with a $20 cover
- Sausage
- Scrambled eggs
- Bacon (a lot of it)
- Fresh fruit and veggie tray, so you can tell people you ate healthy
Drink specials, 7:00 to 9:30 AM (paid separately from the cover)
- $4 Bloody Marys (they come with celery, so they count as a vegetable)
- $3 bottled beers (Germany made it a beer game, and we’re just following along)
What to know before you go
The $20 cover is for the breakfast buffet. Drinks are paid separately at the special prices above.
Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM. The buffet and drink specials run until 9:30 AM.
We open to the public at 9:30 AM. There’s no buffet after that, so the early crowd gets the bacon.
Tables will fill up quickly. If you show up at kickoff, you may be watching from the parking lot.
Wear your Honolulu Blue. Bring the crew. Skip the dishes.
You can’t fly to Munich this morning, but you can sit at a table near a big screen with a plate of bacon and a Bloody Mary.
